Waste
Management

Municipal waste haulers play a significant role keeping our cities and neighborhoods clean, remove refuse and keep cities free of disease. Unfortunately, these particular vehicles consume a tremendous amount of fuel and require constant maintenance to keep them in service. Most notably is the limited range and extremely poor average MPG (Miles Per Gallon) that negatively impacts cost for each city’s budget. As reflected below, in one actual on road test with a major municipal waste hauler fleet, Best Tech Brands participated in a controlled fleet test to determine the viability of using Synergyn® branded fuel and oil additives to improve performance, fuel economy and reduce emissions.

Case Study #146

A closely controlled in-service test was performed in two trucks from a major city’s waste management fleet. This trial was conducted from November 2011 to January 2012 and covered 4,500 on-road miles. The tests showed an average 19 percent overall improvement in fuel economy. These results were achieved using Synergyn® XTrA MPG™ fuel additives and Synergyn® Engine Treatment.

MAGNUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT
US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer (OEM) cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers.
